What was the highlight of Sheraton Miramar Hotel
Generally good but cleaning should be improved
Very friendly and helpful staff. . The rooms are spacious and have a great view of the ocean with floor to ceiling windows. The bathroom is also spacious with a separate walk-in shower. Did not have breakfast so can't comment. Even though there was a big work conference going on we were spared the disturbance because they thankfully put on us on a different floor away from the bar noise.
The rooms need a good clean. It looked like months of dust had gathered around the balcony doors. There was other people's hair on the bathroom floor. It felt like they just cleaned the usual areas as quickly as they could and didn't give enough time for housekeeping to do a proper job. The carpet wasn't vacuumed for the three days we were there. You need to wear a swimming cap in the indoors spa pool. Would have been good to have some warning before arriving. You can buy one when you are there. However, it seems to depend on how well the staff police it.

Excellent location, view from the bedroom and very nice breakfast.

The service in the Farewell Bar was very slow, kind but slow. It was a Saturday night, during holiday season, and it was just one waitress in charge of everything.
